Billing
Q: Do you offer a 30 day money back guarantee?
A: Yes! If you cancel your account within 30 days, you'll receive
a full refund of all fees. If cancellation is done by Solution Second
due to restrictions violation (spam, unacceptable content etc), there
will be no refund.
Q: Who are PaySystems/Revecom and why are they on my credit card
statement?
A: Solution Second uses PaySystems/Revecom as a third party credit
card processor. This provides enhanced security and safety for you as
we never see your credit card number. PaySystems.com thus will appear
on your credit card statement as they are technically charging you.
They also guarantee your purchase against fraud and offer to refund
a maximum of $US50 if your card is used frauduately . If there ever
is a dispute between us PaySystems/Revecom will mediate to find a suitable
solution.
Q: Will I need to reenter my information?
A: All accounts are charged on a recurring basis. This means
that once you have entered your details you will automatically be charged
the same amount every 30, 90 or 360 days.
Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my account at any time?
A: Yes, simply send in a support
ticket stating the domain and new plan you desire.
Q: How do I cancel an account?
A: Send an email to
from the email address you signed up with including your username and
password.
Domains
Q: What are your nameservers and their IP addresses?
A: ns1.solutionsecond.com 66.197.166.120 and ns2.solutionsecond.com
66.197.166.121
Q: What is domain propagation?
A: Your domain registrar informs
InterNIC or alternative top level domain registrar (e.g.Domainz)
that your domain name has been registered or your nameservers have changed.
All Internet Service Providers (ISPs) must then update their records
(DNS tables) to reflect the new site locations. Weird things happen
during this period, your site might be there one minute but not the
next for example. During this propagation period you can access your
site by going to http://solutionsecond.com/~username or by using 66.197.138.2
as your ftp server.
Q: How long does domain propagation take?
A: Anywhere between 12-72 hours. A good tool to check whether
your domain is pointing to our servers is Delorie's
Web Page Viewer.
Q: Can Solution Second transfer my domain for me?
A: We are happy to give you whatever assisstance you need. If
you prefer we can do the whole process for you.
Q: Can Solution Second register my domain for me?
A: Sure we can register you a .com, .net or .org domain name
for the low price of $US15/year. New Zealand .co.nz domains can be registered
for $NZ50/year.
E-mail
Q: What is my POP3 address?
A: yourdomain.com
Q: What is my SMTP address?
A: It is best if you use your ISP's SMTP server as this is faster
for you and reduces load on our servers. Otherwise you can use yourdomain.com
as your SMTP server.
Q: How do I setup extra e-mail addresses?
A: This can be done in your control panel.
Q: What is my e-mail username?
A: If you have set up a POP3 mail address called john your e-mail
username will be john@yourdomain.com

A: This is either your main account password or if the email address
